Alright. So today we’re going to be talking about leadership and what that means. Now, you might ask yourself, hey Al’s an author, speaker, and financial advisor, why is he speaking about leadership?
Well, I think you’ll all agree that when we’re dealing with an army, especially a war, we want a great leader at the front of it. We also want a great leader with companies that we are dealing with or investing in. We want a great leader to run our country, our local community. In the medical profession we want great experts. Right? Great leaders make a difference. And by the way, leadership doesn’t start with that. It doesn’t end with that. It ends also or it’s also with your family, being a great leader around them or your friends.
You want to make sure that you’re being someone that is leading them rather than you’re going to be a victim. So, you have a choice. I’m sitting here in the Upper West Side in New York City, the epicenter of the Corona virus, and we all have choices here in the city too. We can decide to be a victim of this or be a victor? How are we going to get by this? We can decide whether we’re going to be in defense, just wait, or are we going to be in offense, what are we going to do?
What actions are we going to take to make sure we get by this and our company gets by it, and our community, and our family?
And, you know, sometimes as a leader, we don’t have all the answers for that. But in this series we’re going to explore what it is to be a great leader. We’re going to explore what choices you have as that, and if this resonates with you or anyone that you know, please share this, in this series, these next four or five episodes of leadership.
